Me: “Was this something your teacher had you do?”

Younger son: “No, I was just bored with reading.”

I counted…they both appear to be correct.

When I’m bored I generally double 2 repeatedly 2 4 8 16… 512 1024

mareserinitatis - February 24, 2013: Certainly it’s faster, but, in some cases, you’re approximation will only be order of magnitude.
