Gigadog vs. the snow April 3, 2011

Gigadog came home yesterday morning. She seemed to have been terrified most of the time, and when she’s scared, she just refuses to move. Typical Newf. :-) However, she’s already pretty heavy…probably in the 25 lb. range already, so getting her to go takes some effort. Last night was kind of rough, but not as bad as dealing with a newborn baby. It’s a good thing I’m an early riser.
The cats are really not sure what to make of her. Macrocat has given her the sniff down (and because she was so scared she let him), but otherwise both of them are keeping their distance from her.
One of her favorite activities is playing outside, especially in the snow. I think she’s used to sleeping in colder quarters, so she really enjoys how cool it is. I caught a video of her being cute.
