I have a post over at my favorite engineering blog on my worst class ever.

Before you head over, however, I hope you remembered that it’s Pi Day!

I’m celebrating my bringing a couple of these into work:

However, just as important, I spent yesterday evening introducing my younger son to the wonders of geometry by reading him Sir Cumference and the First Round Table.  For those of you who aren’t aware of these books (there are six total, I believe), they’re aimed at early elementary school age kids.  They are fairy tales that teach math.  Even my older boy says he remembers the parts of a circle because of the Sir Cumference books.  So if you have a little one who doesn’t get excited about pie on Pi Day, it might be time to introduce him to Sir Cumference.

Have a happy Pi Day!
