After hosting Faraday’s Cage is where you put Schroedinger’s Cat at LiveJournal for several years, it became apparent that doing so wasn’t working for some of my readers. So here I am.
My name is Cherish. I’m a graduate student in geophysics while working part time as an electrical engineer. I did my undergrad in physics and masters in electrical engineering. I am married to another electrical engineer (Mike) and have two kids (older boy and younger boy). We have two cats, Macrocat and Microcat, and two Newfoundland dogs, Teradog and Gigadog, contributing to our already insanely busy lives. (Picopig returned to her home at the beginning of the school year.)
I write about anything that catches my fancy, usually science, education, parenting, humor, and politics…but not necessarily in that order.
I also blog at Engineer Blogs, home away from home to some of the best engineering blogs.
